In 1999 Leisure &
Land were instructed to find a Country Hotel with character in the Provence -
Languedoc regions of France.
The first
hurdle/mission was to raise the additional finance from French Banks to pay for
the improvements.
This
work was coordinated by Leisure & Land in association with local architects and
builders. As the project advanced, Leisure & Land recruited all the staff, from
senior management and chefs, to cleaners and gardeners; contracted accountants
and all necessary exterior support to enable a foreign owner to succeed.
